THE GOAL AND INSTITUTIONALISATIONINSTITUTIONALISATION STRATEGYSTRATEGY – Makgabo Queen MANAMELA

Makgabo Queen MANAMELA
Southern African Students Union (SASU)

Makgabo Queen Manamela, an LLB student at the University ofSouth Africa. In addition to being the national under graduate officer on the National Student Representative Council, I also serve as the acting conven or of international relations and an executive member of the Southern African Student Union (SASU). Angola,Botswana, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe are the nations that are the focus of SASU, a student organization.

What kind of representation and decision making mechanism structure should be created?
Make democratic decisions, and members or the committee should meet on a regular basis to discuss issues impacting students from all walks of life and how to address them. It must be a team that deliberates until they discover each other, but most importantly, makes decisions that will have a good impact on students‘ lives.

Who should be invited to join the council?
Students, diplomats, and human rights activists should all be part of the process.

What other important points would you like to highlight?
I’d want to emphasize that we should strive to establish friendly relationships with university administrators around the world so that we may discuss concerns impacting students with them in their individual institutions. A voice from an international student council may be more influential than students from the same institution.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ COUNCIL
• FOR FREE PUBLIC EDUCATION

The demand for free and high-quality education must continue. And we must not grow tired of it; we must strive to leave a legacy that will benefit future generations even after we are gone.

NTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ COUNCIL (ISC)
•AGAINST NEOCOLONIALISM
•FOR NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE.
•FOR A SOCIAL WORLD

Countries that were previously viewed as impoverished or upcoming should endeavor to break the bond that the masters wish to maintain, even if it means breaking off all ties with the oppressor. This can only be accomplished through international relations networking and the strengthening of import and export trade amongst countries with similar mission and visions. There must be a push to devalue the United States dollar and empower other currencies with equal, if not more, value.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS’ COUNCIL (ISC)
•FOR THE RELOCATION OF THE UNO HEADQUARTERS

The committee for international students should advocate moving UNO’s headquarters from New York to any city that actively supports the organization’s mission. There are nations that would be more than happy to cooperate with and support the UN.

Support is derived from recent events that have seen a change in geopolitics and inappropriate behavior from the current host. One nation’s bullying and desire to keep the rest of the globe hostage because they think they are better should never be permitted. The relocation process should be further engaged, and nations who support the UN’s goals both conceptually and practically should be given a chance.
